Five Returns currently works without an account. We never sell your data.
What stays on your device
Your prayer check-ins, reflections, duas, reminder choices, mode settings, qada count, tasbih count, and prayer preferences are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not uploaded to a Five Returns account or made social. Clearing browser data or changing devices may remove them.
Location and prayer times
If you allow location access, coordinates are stored in your browser and sent to the AlAdhan prayer-time service to calculate prayer times. Your browser and AlAdhan may process the request under their own technical logs and policies. Five Returns does not currently maintain its own location database.
Notifications
Notification permission is controlled by your browser or operating system. Reminder preferences remain on your device. Browser limitations can affect whether reminders arrive when the app is closed.

Links to Qur’an.com, Sunnah.com, Google Maps, and reference sites open those services. Their privacy practices apply once you leave Five Returns.
Payments and AI
Payments are not live. If support payments launch, checkout terms and the payment provider will be disclosed before payment. Private journals are not currently sent to AI. Any future AI feature will require clear permission and will not generate fatwas or authoritative religious claims.
Your choices
You can deny location and notification access, use the app without an account, remove individual journal entries, or clear all locally stored data through your browser settings.
